Weaned

My breastfeeding journey had come to an end.

These past couple of weeks have been whirlwind of emotions. Mixed feelings. I was going through something no one really talks about, but did you know hormones go crazy once you stop breastfeeding? Thanks Goodness, my little boy is officially weaned off. I don't know about you but in my personal experience, everything is different with the boys. Two weeks already and he is still reaching and asking for his "juju."

The mastitis had hit me hard. I ached with engorgement and was feeling crappy. With the lack of sleeps I probably looked like a Zombie. I was so grumpy that it was so hard for me not to take my grump out on my daughter. She even said that she feels sad when I shout on her. Hey, it's not me, hormones are to blame. Well, I think I couldn't have done it without my supportive family.

Today I feel fresh. Also got a new haircut and can't get over my sexy hair. Even though I was sad to see my baby but it feels so good to finally get a haircut.

Anyone else felt like this?

P.S. this was not my first weaning but yeah it was first time with a boy.
